Treatment of mycotic aneurysm with glue

Case - 1

Arrow points out a tiny aneurysm arising from cortical branch of left anterior cerebral artery as seen from side.  Its location is suggestive of mycotic aetiology( Due to infection)

In the square is a tiny aneurysm as seen from front.

Arrow shows tip of microcatheter just proximal to aneurysm.

Microcatheter-tip is seen in the aneurysm.

Cast of the glue (Histoacryl)is seen which was used as a blocking agent.

After embolization, check angiogram shows no evidence of aneurysm.

A view from side confirms obliteration of aneurysm.
