CCF Type A Balloon embolization

A young man presented with  redness and bulging of the right eye following road traffic accident.

Latex Balloon ifilled with contrast is positioned in the  Fistulous communication to block the rent in internal carotid artery.

This is how patient presents with typical Type A CCF.

48 hours after blocking the CCF, the redness and swelling reduce significantly. Eye has opened partially.

After 3 weeks , eye is almost looking normal except for residual redness in lower conjunctiva and lateral gaze palsy.

After 3 months, his eye and eye movements were abolutely normal.
