Endovascular management of postoperative GI bleed

Case - 1: Patient presented with massive bleeding from upper gastrointestinal tract after surgery for removal of gall bladder.

Postembolization angiogram shows no pseudoaneurysm and complete occlusion of right hepatic artery . 

The treatment of choice for any pseudoaneurysm is occlusion of the artery from which it is arising.

 

Case - 2: Middle aged man had surgery for duodenum and pancreas region after which he developed upper gastrointestinal bleed.
