Embolization of Renal Cell Carcinoma and its bone metastasis

Case - 1: Middle aged man presented with fracture of Right Humerus without significant trauma. Investigations revealed that he had renal carcinoma with metastasis in right humerus resulting in its pathological fracture.

Case - 2 : Another elderly male patient with renal cell carcinoma in the left kidney. Due to vascular nature of the tumour, surgeons prefer to devascularise the tumour before operation. Following patient was subjected to embolization for the same reason.

Post embolization , tumour is not seen at all. This procedure will help surgeons in reducing surgical time and reducing the bleeding during surgery .
