Embolization of intractable head and neck bleed

Case - 1: Elderly gentleman who had undergone radiation therapy for cancer of buccal mucosa few years ago presented with massive bleeding through mouth.

Blotch of contrast is seen stagnated suggestive of a bleed

Bleeder was blocked with a coil.(Shown by arrow) Postembolization angiogram showed occlusion of the feeder. 

Bleeding stopped immediately.

 

Case - 2 : Elderly gentleman had undergone radiotherapy for cancer tongue few years ago. Now he presented with intractable bleed through mouth.
